Dangerous, easy, convenient 都是大家耳熟能詳的形容詞，但也很容易踩雷：

1. John is dangerous. John正處於危險之中。

2. She is difficult to solve the problem by herself. 她自己一人難以解決此問題。

3. The parcel is five kilos heavy. 這包裹五公斤重。

4. I am easy to get fat. 我很容易胖。

5. If you are convenient, let’s meet tomorrow. 如果你方便，我們就約明天。

Debug Answer

1. John is in danger.
Dangerous的意思是“引起危險的，有威脅的”，並不是遭到危險或處於危險境地的意思，所以dangerous 應該改為 endangered 或 in danger。

2. It is difficult for her to solve the problem by herself.
Difficult 是指一件事做起來有困難，主詞應該是 to solve the problem by herself。

3. The parcel weighs five kilos. /The parcel is five kilos.
中文裡會說五公斤重，但這個「重」不能用heavy。Heavy 有一點與 old／long／ wide／ high／ tall等形容詞不同，heavy 一般不用於表度量的名詞之後，但long/old/high這些則可以。如The rope is five meters long. 這根繩子長5米。

4. I gain weight so easily.
Easy這個形容詞，並不常用來形容人，它較常用來形容事情。例如：
It is not an easy job. 這不是件容易的事。
當句子的主詞是人，easy詞性要做一點調整，變成I gain weight so easily.

5. If it’s convenient for you, let’s meet tomorrow.　
中文常說我很方便、我不方便，自然就聯想到convenient這個字。Convenient這個字意思其實是「便利的、讓人覺得方便」，常用的句型是It’s convenient….例如：It's very convenient that you live near the office.　你們住在辦公室附近很方便。
