今天來看幾個在會議上經常會用錯的句子。

1. I’m sorry to interrupt. 抱歉，我想打斷一下。

2. Can you repeat again? 你可以再說一遍嗎？

3. Since everyone has arrived, let’s get started. 人到齊了，我們開始吧。

4. Please introduce yourselves by your seat. 大家按座位順序輪流介紹一下自己。

5. How do you think about this proposal? 你對這個計劃案有何想法？

1. Excuse me for interrupting.

I’m sorry和excuse me都有表示「抱歉」之意，sorry是用在行動之後，例如，不小心踩到別人的腳，可用I’m sorry. Excuse me是用在冒犯之前，例如，借過、想打斷別人，行動沒有發生之前。

2. Can you say it again?

Repeat本身就有「再一遍」的意思，不需要再用again。可以用Can you say it again?或Can you repeat it?

3. Since everyone is here, let’s get started.

Arrive是「到達」，會議上講人到齊了，是指大家到在這裡了，和「到達」這個概念無關，用”every one is here”即可。

4. Let’s go around the table and introduce ourselves.

原句會變成由座位來介紹自己，不通。用go around the table，就有「按座位一個一個來」的意思。

5. What do you think about this proposal?

問人意見，中文裡說「你對計劃案想法如何？」因為有「如何」兩字，自然就會聯想到how ，這樣問是錯的，因為how是問方法、程度，用how問，會變成：「你怎麼思考…」「你如何想到…」，而我們真正想問的是別人對這個計劃案的意見，用what才對。
