Issue_03-1：介系詞篇(1) 原來discuss with you是錯的！
我們今天來看四個動詞，四個表面上看來沒有關係的動詞：discuss、contact、emphasize和lack。
這四個動詞表面看來沒什麼關聯，但是把它們擺在一塊，是因為我用錯這些字的原因都和「介系詞」有關，而且經常錯得不自覺。先看看怎麼個錯法：
（Ｘ）Discuss with／Discuss about
- She discussed about the balance sheet with her boss. (X)
- She discussed the sales forecast with her boss. (O)
(她和老闆討論她的業務預測)
（Ｘ）Contact with
- For more information, please contact with your local agent. (X)
- For more information, please contact your local agent. (O)

（Ｘ）Emphasize on
- She emphasizes on the importance of management. (X)
- She emphasizes the importance of management. (O)
（Ｘ）Lack of
- He just lacks of a little confidence. (X)
- He just lacks a little confidence. (O)
(他就是缺了點信心)
這四個動詞都是「及物動詞」，很多同學覺得「及物、不及物」這些專有名詞很困擾，其實很容易記，「及」的意思就是「加」，動詞後面可以直接加受詞，就是及物，不可以就是不及物。這四個動詞都是及物，必須要直接加受詞。但我們為什麼會搞錯呢？因為它們以名詞形式出現時 discussion, contact, approach和lack則都會和介系詞連在一起。例如：
- We had a discussion about our future plans last night. (我們昨晚討論了我們未來的計畫。)
- He tried in vain to get into contact with the local branch. (他試著與當地分公司聯繫，但一直未成功。)
- They put emphasis on quality rather than on quantity. (他們重質不重量)。
- Her only problem is a lack of confidence. (她唯一的問題就是缺乏信心。)
